What matters more is how technology is applied. Several uses of the same technology might be produced, even or especially in education. So, it is essential to take into account all of the potential uses when evaluating a technology's value. Simply expressed, this means emphasizing media—which demonstrate a more extensive use of technologies—rather than particular tools or technologies, but still recognizing that technology is an essential component of almost all media.
